Our History

Alfred Simmons and Co was founded in 1895 by Alfred Simmons. The firm initially operated out of a Summer House in London Road, Redhill until 1901, when it moved to the Redhill Market Hall Buildings. The practice remained at this location until December 1981, when the town centre redevelopment called for its demolition. The current offices at Chancery House were opened on 2 January 1982.

Alfred Simmons and Co was run as a family concern until 1931 and in 1985 the final link with the Simmons family was broken when Gordon Simmons retired.

On 1 March 2007 Alfred Simmons & Co was re-branded as Vista Partners LLP, the most fundamental change to the business since its inception.

On 1st May 2011 the partners transferred the practice into a limited company under the name of Vista Partners Limited (company number 07518998).

The present directors recognise the importance of preserving the firm's heritage whilst looking to the future.
